Sendpilot vs LeadShark: Which LinkedIn Tool Do You Need?
Updated Oct 11, 2026
Sendpilot vs LeadShark: an outbound sales suite vs a comment-to-DM lead magnet tool. Price, daily limits, non-connected commenters and who should pick which.
The 30-second answer
Sendpilot and LeadShark both touch LinkedIn comments, but they're built for different jobs.
Sendpilot is an outbound sales platform. It runs connection request and message sequences from many LinkedIn accounts at once, with a shared inbox, a 300M+ contact database and lead scoring. It also has inbound campaigns that reply to commenters and DM the ones you're connected to.
LeadShark does one job. Someone comments your keyword, gets a reply, and gets your lead magnet in their DMs, whether or not you're connected yet.
Pick Sendpilot if you run cold outbound across several accounts. Pick LeadShark if your posts get comments and you want every one turned into a delivered resource and a lead.
I'm Ruz and I built LeadShark, so keep that in mind. Sendpilot's facts below come from their own site and help center as of Oct 11, 2026.

The big differences
Commenters you're not connected to
On lead magnet posts, a lot of comments come from people outside your network. Sendpilot DMs the commenters you're connected to. Everyone else gets a comment reply asking them to connect first. Its site doesn't say whether the DM then goes out on its own once they connect.
LeadShark sends the connection request for you on every plan and delivers the resource once they accept. On Apex you can skip the wait and DM non-connections directly.
Price for one account
Sendpilot's pricing is per sender. One LinkedIn account on Launch costs $79 a month, or $66 billed yearly. Growth is $329 for five senders and Agency is $699 for 25. LeadShark starts at $39 a month for your account.
If you're one creator with one profile, LeadShark costs about half. If you're an agency running dozens of accounts, Sendpilot's per-sender price drops to $23 to $28 a month on Agency, and that math is hard to beat.
Both have a 7-day free trial with no card. Sendpilot's help center says it doesn't offer refunds unless a contract says otherwise, so cancel inside the trial if it's not for you.
Daily limits
Sendpilot holds established accounts at 25 connection requests a day and recommends no more than 75 messages a day per account. To send more, it tells you to add accounts rather than push one harder. It also warms up new accounts and only sends in the hours you schedule.
On LeadShark you set your own daily DM limit, anywhere from 5 to 250 a day, on every plan. We recommend 150 at most. Actions are paced like a human, with daily limits learned from 10M+ real LinkedIn actions and a quiet window at night. We only DM people who commented and asked, and the messages are templates you write, not AI.
LinkedIn can restrict any automated account, whichever tool you use. No tool can honestly promise otherwise.
What happens after the DM
LeadShark sends your link as a short link, so you see who actually clicked. You can put the resource behind an email-gated page (Pro+), sync emails to Kit or Beehiiv, send follow-ups to people who clicked, and push leads out with webhooks or CSV export. It also handles company page posts. I didn't find click tracking or email capture on Sendpilot's site.
Sendpilot goes deeper on the sales side: lead scoring, a shared inbox across accounts, HubSpot sync and Slack alerts.
How it connects
Sendpilot connects with your LinkedIn cookies or your login, and runs each account through a dedicated proxy in your country. If you use cookies and log out of LinkedIn in your browser, the account disconnects from Sendpilot.
LeadShark runs in the cloud. You use our Chrome extension once at the start to connect, and never again. There's no extension to keep open.
When Sendpilot is the better pick
- You run cold outbound: connection requests, messages, voice notes and follow-ups to lists of prospects.
- You manage many LinkedIn accounts, for a sales team or for agency clients, and want one shared inbox.
- You need leads to contact. Its 300M+ contact database and ICP scoring help you find them.
- You want AI to write your posts and lead magnets.
That's a real use case, and Sendpilot is built for it. LeadShark isn't built for cold outbound.

FAQ
Is Sendpilot a LeadShark alternative?
Partly. Sendpilot has inbound campaigns that reply to comments with an action word and DM the commenters you're connected to. But it's mainly an outbound tool for sales teams and agencies. LeadShark is built only for turning comments into delivered lead magnets, from $39 a month.
Is Sendpilot cheaper than LeadShark?
No. Sendpilot starts at $79 a month for one LinkedIn account, or $66 a month billed yearly. LeadShark starts at $39 a month, and yearly billing saves 17%. If you run five or more LinkedIn accounts, Sendpilot's per-sender pricing gets cheaper per account.
Does Sendpilot DM commenters I'm not connected to?
Not directly. Its site says commenters you aren't connected to get a reply asking them to connect first. LeadShark sends the connection request for you on every plan and delivers once they accept, and Apex DMs non-connections directly.
Do both have a free trial?
Yes. Both offer 7 days with no card. Sendpilot's help center says it doesn't offer refunds unless a contract says otherwise.
Can I use Sendpilot and LeadShark together?
Yes, but not on the same LinkedIn account at the same time. Sendpilot itself says restrictions it sees come from connecting one account to several tools at once. A common split is Sendpilot for cold outbound on sales reps' accounts and LeadShark for lead magnet posts on the founder's account.
Where is LeadShark based?
Tallinn, Estonia. We've been live since September 2024 and have delivered 2.6M+ DMs for 5,000+ creators.
