Drop your draft into the editor. Line breaks stay exactly where you put them.
Highlight a word or line and hit bold, italic or a list. Watch the preview update as you go, and check where "see more" falls on desktop and mobile.
Hit Copy post, open LinkedIn, start a post and paste. The formatting comes with it.
LinkedIn has no bold or italic button for posts. This formatter swaps your selected letters for Unicode characters that look bold, italic or underlined. They're real characters, not styling, so they survive copy and paste and show up the same on desktop and mobile.
A fair warning on accessibility. Screen readers can struggle with Unicode bold. Some read each letter out one by one, some skip it. Search inside LinkedIn may not match formatted words either. So use it for a few words that matter, like a key number or a single line, not whole paragraphs. Keep names, links and hashtags in plain text.
LinkedIn shows around 210 characters on desktop and around 140 in the mobile app before the "see more" cut, roughly the first 3 lines. Most people read on their phone, so write for the shorter one.
Put the point in line one. The number, the result or the claim. Not a warm-up.
Land it inside 140 characters. Use the Mobile preview to check.
Go easy on blank lines up top. An empty line uses up one of your 3 lines.
Bold one thing, not everything. One bold phrase pulls the eye. Five bold lines read like shouting.
Give a reason to click. End the visible part on a question or a promise the rest of the post pays off.

LinkedIn has no bold button for posts. Type your post here, select the words, hit Bold, then copy and paste it into LinkedIn. The bold comes from Unicode characters, so it stays when you paste.
Not natively in posts. This tool adds all three, plus bold italic, using Unicode characters. Underline and strikethrough use combining marks, which can look slightly different on some devices.
It can be. Some screen readers read Unicode letters one at a time or skip them, and LinkedIn search may not match formatted words. Use it for a few words, not whole paragraphs, and keep names, links and hashtags plain.
LinkedIn doesn't publish an exact number. The cut usually lands around 210 characters on desktop and around 140 in the mobile app, roughly 3 lines. Blank lines count as lines. The preview here shows both.
3,000 characters, including spaces, line breaks and emoji. The counter warns you as you get close.
Yes. Unicode characters show on desktop and in the LinkedIn app, and you can paste them into comments too. A few older devices may show some symbols as boxes.
There's no public evidence that it hurts or helps reach. What matters more is whether people stop on your first lines and read on. Use formatting to make the post easier to read, not as a trick.
