LinkedIn Post Scheduler

Schedule the post and everything that happens after it.

Write your post, pick a time and attach your comment-to-DM automation. When the post goes live, LeadShark replies to everyone who comments your keyword and sends them your resource by DM. Nobody waits on you to wake up, log in or switch anything on.

A scheduler that keeps working after "Published"

Most schedulers stop when the post goes out. But the comments that come in during the first hours are the reason you posted. With LeadShark, the automation is set up before the post publishes and starts by itself the moment it goes live. You can add a first comment that drops right after it publishes and an auto-repost a few hours later, so the post keeps reaching people who missed it.

How it works

1. Write your post.

Up to 3,000 characters with emoji and a live LinkedIn preview. Add images or a carousel, one PDF document, or one MP4 video, and @mention people and Company Pages.

2. Pick a time.

Choose the day and a 15-minute slot in your own time zone, from 15 minutes to 90 days ahead. LeadShark won't let two posts land in the same slot.

3. Attach the automation.

Pick a saved template or set your trigger keywords, the public reply, the DM with your link and the follow-up for people who don't reply.

4. Add the extras.

A first comment, an auto-repost at +4h, +8h or +12h, and on Pro+ a comment or like from your Company Page.

The post publishes on time and the automation starts as soon as it does.

Everything the scheduler does

Publishing

  • Text, image, carousel, PDF document and MP4 video posts
  • @mentions of people and Company Pages
  • First comment: posted under your post right after it publishes, for example with your link (up to 1,000 characters)
  • Auto-repost: one native repost of your post 4, 8 or 12 hours after it goes live, on personal-profile posts
  • Post as your Company Page (Pro+ and Apex)
  • Company Page boost on your personal post: have your Page comment on it or like it right after it publishes (Pro+ and Apex)

Planning

  • Calendar view of everything you've scheduled, with a filter for pre-automated posts
  • Drag a post to another day to reschedule it. It keeps the same time of day
  • 15-minute slots in your own time zone, up to 90 days ahead
  • Edit the copy, time, mentions, automation or auto-repost of any pending post
  • Going away? Push your whole queue back in one request through the API, or one sentence to your AI agent on Pro+ and Apex: "I'm off next week, push all my scheduled posts back 7 days." Posts keep their spacing.
  • Schedule posts and automations for the LinkedIn accounts you manage (APEX+)

The automation that comes with it

  • Keyword triggers, auto-reply under the comment and a DM with your resource
  • Follow-up DMs only if there's no reply (1 on Pro, 2 on Pro+ and Apex)
  • Auto-connect with commenters you're not connected to, then deliver the DM once they accept. On Apex, your AI agent can InMail people you're not connected with (uses your LinkedIn InMail credits)
  • Tracked links, so you see who clicked the resource you sent
  • Saved templates, so your next lead magnet post takes a minute to set up
  • You set 0 to 250 DMs a day (150 recommended max), with human pacing, off-hours and warm-up mode

Schedule from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

On Pro+ and Apex, your AI agent can schedule, edit, shift and cancel posts through the LeadShark MCP server. Ask in plain language: "Schedule my guide post for Tuesday 9am, put the link in the first comment and DM anyone who comments 'guide'."

Before you schedule

FAQ

Can you schedule posts on LinkedIn?

Yes. LinkedIn's own composer lets you schedule a post up to 3 months ahead, from your profile or a Company Page. It publishes the post and that's it. LeadShark also handles what comes after: it replies to commenters, sends them your resource by DM, adds your first comment and can repost the post a few hours later.

How do I schedule a LinkedIn post with LeadShark?

Open Schedule in the LeadShark dashboard, write your post, add any images, PDF or video, and pick a day and time. Then attach a comment-to-DM automation (a saved template or a new one) and, if you like, a first comment and an auto-repost. LeadShark publishes on time and starts the automation the moment the post goes live.

Where do I find my scheduled posts?

Posts you schedule in LeadShark live in the Schedule calendar in your LeadShark dashboard. From there you can open, edit or reschedule any pending post, or drag it to another day. Posts you schedule in LinkedIn's own composer are under Start a post, then the clock icon, then View all scheduled posts.

What's the best time to schedule LinkedIn posts?

There's no single best time for everyone, but Tuesday is the most active day on LeadShark: it's when creators set up the most automations, followed by Wednesday and Thursday (see our live platform stats). Check when your own audience is active and commenting in your LinkedIn analytics, and schedule for then. With LeadShark the timing changes your reach, not your reply speed: the automation answers commenters whenever they show up, even if that's 2am your time.

Can I schedule a first comment on LinkedIn?

Yes. Add a first comment when you schedule the post and LeadShark posts it under your post right after it publishes. Creators often use it for the link so the post body stays clean.

Can I schedule carousels, PDFs and videos?

Yes. You can schedule image posts and multi-image carousels, a PDF document or an MP4 video. LinkedIn allows one document or one video per post, so those can't be mixed with images.

Can I schedule posts for a LinkedIn Company Page?

Yes, on Pro+ and Apex you can schedule and publish posts as a Company Page you administer. A comment-to-DM automation can't be pre-attached to a scheduled Company Page post. Once it's live, you can automate it from your personal account with keywords, replies and DMs sent as you (Pro+ and Apex). On Apex, your Company Page can also auto-reply to comments itself.

What is auto-repost?

LeadShark can reshare your post natively 4, 8 or 12 hours after it actually goes live, so it reaches people who missed it the first time. You get one repost per post, on personal-profile posts, and you can change or cancel it any time before it runs.

Can I push back all my scheduled posts at once?

In the dashboard, drag a post to a new day on the calendar. To move your whole queue at once, send one API request or tell your AI agent on Pro+ or Apex, for example "push all my scheduled posts back 7 days". Every pending post moves and keeps its spacing.

Is there a free LinkedIn post scheduler?

LinkedIn's built-in scheduler is free. LeadShark has a 7-day free trial on every plan with no card, so you can schedule and automate your next post before you pay anything.

Is scheduling LinkedIn posts safe?

Publishing your own posts on a schedule is low risk. It's not the behaviour LinkedIn's rules target. The DMs that follow stay inside a daily limit you set: 0 to 250 DMs a day (150 recommended max), with human pacing, off-hours and warm-up mode.
