Sendler vs LeadShark: Which LinkedIn Tool Do You Need?

Updated Nov 3, 2026

Sendler (formerly Sendpilot) vs LeadShark: an outbound sales suite vs a comment-to-DM lead magnet tool. Price, daily limits, MCP and who should pick which.

The 30-second answer

Sendler and LeadShark both touch LinkedIn comments, but they're built for different jobs.

Sendler (formerly Sendpilot) is an outbound sales platform. It runs connection request and message sequences from many LinkedIn accounts at once, with a shared inbox, a 300M+ contact database and ICP scoring. It also has inbound campaigns that reply to commenters and DM the ones you're connected to.

LeadShark turns post comments into leads. Someone comments your keyword, gets a reply, and gets your lead magnet in their DMs, whether or not you're connected yet.

Pick Sendler if you run cold outbound across several accounts. Pick LeadShark if your posts get comments and you want every one turned into a delivered resource and a lead.

I'm Ruz and I built LeadShark, so keep that in mind. Sendler's facts below come from its own site and docs as of Nov 3, 2026.

Sendpilot is now Sendler

If you came here looking for Sendpilot, it's the same product under a new name. The old sendpilot.ai site no longer loads, and the plans and prices on Sendler's site are the ones Sendpilot listed. Everything below uses Sendler's current site.

The big differences

Commenters you're not connected to

On lead magnet posts, a lot of comments come from people outside your network. Sendler scores every commenter against your ICP and DMs the ones you're connected to. Everyone else gets a comment reply asking them to connect. Its site doesn't say whether the DM then goes out on its own once they connect.

LeadShark sends the connection request for you on every plan and delivers the resource once they accept. On Apex you can skip the wait and DM non-connections directly.

Price for one account, and for a team

Sendler's pricing is per sender. One LinkedIn account on Launch costs $79 a month, or $66 billed annually. Growth is $329 for five senders and Agency is $699 for 25, with extra senders at $49 and $29 a month. LeadShark starts at $39 a month for your account.

If you're one creator with one profile, LeadShark costs about half. For 3 or more accounts, LeadShark Teams is $30, $50 or $100 per account a month (Pro, Pro+ or Apex, any mix), and the APEX+ agency bundle is $186 a month. If you're an agency running dozens of accounts for cold outbound, Sendler's per-sender price drops to $28 a month on Agency ($23 billed annually), and that math is hard to beat.

Both advertise a 7-day free trial with no card. Sendler's terms say its fees are non-refundable, so cancel inside the trial if it's not for you.

Daily limits

Sendler holds established accounts at 25 connection requests a day, which its homepage puts at up to 175 a week per sender, and recommends no more than 75 messages a day per account. To send more, it tells you to add accounts rather than push one harder. It warms up accounts that are new to it, new to automation or under three months old, and only sends in the hours you schedule.

On LeadShark you set your own daily DM limit, anywhere from 0 to 250 a day, on every plan, and we recommend a maximum of 150. Actions are paced like a human, with daily limits learned from 10M+ real LinkedIn actions and a quiet window at night. We only DM people who commented and asked, and the messages are templates you write, not AI.

LinkedIn can restrict any automated account, whichever tool you use. No tool can honestly promise otherwise.

What happens after the DM

LeadShark sends your link as a short link, so you see who actually clicked. You can put the resource behind an email-gated page, sync emails to your email tool, send up to 3 follow-up DMs per automation (Pro 1, Pro+ 2, Apex 3) only to people who didn't reply, with an optional ideal-customer filter, and push leads out with webhooks or CSV export. I didn't find click tracking or email capture on Sendler's site.

Sendler goes deeper on the sales side: ICP scoring, a shared inbox across accounts, two-way HubSpot sync and a Slack alert on every reply.

Running it from Claude or ChatGPT

Both have an MCP server. Sendler's lets Claude build a campaign, load the leads and put your senders to work, and its docs list 22 tools. It comes with API and webhooks on Growth, from $329 a month.

LeadShark's LinkedIn MCP server connects on Pro+ ($59) and Apex ($119), for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. Every agent action draws from the same daily limits as your automations, with an action log and an Emergency Stop, and on Apex you can make every write wait for your approval.

How it connects

Sendler connects each LinkedIn account through a dedicated proxy in the country it works from, and its account screen lists the connection type as credentials.

LeadShark runs in the cloud. You pass your LinkedIn session once with LeadShark Connect, a passive Chrome extension, and we never ask for your LinkedIn password. After that there's no extension to keep open.

When Sendler is the better pick

  • You run cold outbound: connection requests, messages, voice notes and follow-ups to lists of prospects.
  • You manage many LinkedIn accounts, for a sales team or for agency clients, and want one shared inbox.
  • You need leads to contact. Its 300M+ contact database and ICP scoring help you find them.
  • You want AI to write your posts and lead magnets.

That's a real use case, and Sendler is built for it. LeadShark isn't built for cold outbound.

FAQ

Is Sendler the same as Sendpilot?

Yes. Sendpilot now goes by Sendler, and the old sendpilot.ai site no longer loads. The plans and prices are the same ones Sendpilot listed: Launch at $79 a month for one sender, Growth at $329 for five and Agency at $699 for 25.

Is Sendler a LeadShark alternative?

Partly. Sendler has inbound campaigns that reply to comments with an action word and DM the commenters you're connected to. But it's mainly an outbound tool for sales teams and agencies. LeadShark is built for turning comments into delivered lead magnets and leads, from $39 a month.

Is Sendler cheaper than LeadShark?

Not for one account. Sendler starts at $79 a month for one LinkedIn account, or $66 a month billed annually. LeadShark starts at $39 a month. For 3 or more accounts, LeadShark Teams costs $30, $50 or $100 per account a month depending on the plan. If you run 25 or more sender accounts for cold outbound, Sendler's Agency plan works out to about $28 per sender.

Does Sendler DM commenters I'm not connected to?

Not directly. Its site says commenters you aren't connected to get a comment reply asking them to connect, with no DM until they do. LeadShark sends the connection request for you on every plan and delivers the DM once they accept, and Apex DMs non-connections directly.

Do both have a free trial?

Yes. Both advertise 7 days with no card. Sendler's terms of service say its fees are non-refundable, so cancel inside the trial if it's not for you.

Can I use Sendler and LeadShark together?

Yes, but not on the same LinkedIn account at the same time. Sendler itself says the restrictions it sees come from connecting one account to several tools at once. A common split is Sendler for cold outbound on sales reps' accounts and LeadShark for lead magnet posts on the founder's account.

Where is LeadShark based?

Tallinn, Estonia. We've been live since September 2024, have captured 3M comments across 27K+ automations, and commenters get a response in under 10 minutes on average.
